The final release of 95 is more stable than that of 98.
That’s an interesting take, and not at all how I remember it actually going down at the time, at least in the U.S.Windows '95 was a bold step into a new way of using computers. In hindsight, its reputation for its instability overshadows how it single-handedly revolutionised the idea of the user interface, and this revolutionary character was something very much in the minds of people at the time. Now every idiot could use a computer. I was raised on 3.1, Norton Commander and simple DOS, and I remember just how different '95 was at the time, and how you no longer needed to understand a computer's inner workings to be able to use it.

More cowbell!38.4C - haven’t had a temperature that high in years!
Also wanting to know this. As much I'd like it for free, it does clearly state a whole load of shit won't work with it (yet?).Anyone here tried the Windows 11 update?
Thanks for this, total deal breaker for me. Not gonna bother with W11 then.My biggest gripe is that the Start button (or whatever it's called now) is in the middle instead of the left corner and I keep forgetting.
Every damn time they try to redo the start menu, people lose their shit (myself included). Why they keep trying is beyond me.Thanks for this, total deal breaker for me. Not gonna bother with W11 then.
