I lost some points in libertarian because of two to three answers that immediately evoked edge cases. I am pro-rehabilitation, against death penalty however I do not believe we should even try rehabilitating someone like Chikatilo. Don't google, it's about children and it's above and beyond any sort of redemption.

Same for me. I don't know the case you are referring too, and it sounds like I don't want to know it either. But I think we owe it to the public, to just accept that some scum are beyond redemption. I wouldn't let anyone convicted of a sex crime back on the streets ever again, put them somewhere where they can get the help that they need, for the rest of their lives, it's not worth putting others at risk.

Mine is almost identical to yours.

Some of the claims were totally alien to Finnish thinking. "Schools should not make classroom attendance compulsory." The government decides here when attendance is compulsory, and I've never heard anyone suggest schools should be allowed to decide on it themselves. Sounds rather exotic really. "Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers." Say that here publicly and you'll be lynched. :p "Sex outside marriage is usually immoral." I don't think anyone has thought so since the 1950s. Really absurd concept really. :D Maybe about 15 years ago, 70% of babies in Helsinki area were born outside wedlock, and wonder what the amount is now.

Also, what kind of a school? In some countries kindergarden is also called school, and a higher education institution is also school.

Tried to write a conclusion to my present chapter today and I don't even fucking know what my conclusion is.

I chose “agree” for that question. I’m not against sex outside marriage, but I do think it’s usually immoral. This is based on how I’ve heard most people talk about the topic: vulgar, rather than romantic.
Oops, sorry. :halo: I actually meant Finns, but I didn't want to repeat the word again. I feel it's self-evident here. Only a very small minority waits until married. One could certainly think it's immortal but it would be like shouting in the wind.

1986 Iron Maiden approach - repeat the chapter with a lighter and lighter font until it fades out
2006 Iron Maiden approach - conclude with the foreword

I know you meant Finns but how different are Finns and Estonians? Well, I can think of some differences...

Let me put it this way. If I had a girlfriend, I would appreciate it if her amount of previous intimate partners was close to zero. But fuck it (good old pun), this is no place for such discussion.

Sadly my knowledge of Estonian culture is quite superficial. Judging by the clothing style ladies wear in Tallinna, compared to Finnish women, makes me think there may be differences. :) And you once said Finns are ugly. I haven't forgotten that.

This. In fact, sex has nothing to do with the institution of marriage whatsoever. It’s just toxic social control to link sex and marriage together and make them mutually inclusive. Now, relationships and sex often coincide, but that is a different thing altogether.

If she hasn’t been with at least a couple of other guys, the training wheels will still be on. More than a half dozen probably deserves the Spock eyebrow, though…
