I'm trying to figure who is the mother of the baby along the street. It could be the 40something woman who owns the house, but she's had a load of kids, mostly grown up now, I'd be really surprised if she wanted more. It could also be her just-turned-16-year-old daughter's baby, but she's like a child herself. It could also be one of the grown-up sons or daughter's babies, I guess. There were a couple of jailbirds in that family and it wouldn't be the first time one of their kids has ended up living with someone else.
