You're right, he's gone quiet.

Just having fun watching the RAF. I heard some fighters earlier, now there are two Hawk T1s flying at low level nearby, I can see them on Flightradar24, with the call sign 'Aggressr', and Typhoons over the sea with the callsign 'Warlord'. Expecting some night time dogfights over Teesside very shortly.

Yesterday I felt like I finally caught up on stuff at work and can hold my own compared to other people. Today just threw another curveball at me and I feel out of my depth again trying to catch up. :grumble:

For the first time I've had to cancel a flight due to a passenger not wanting to go.

Another guy at the club had asked me if I could take a couple for a short flight tonight, which I agreed to. It turned out it was a guy who wanted to surprise his girlfriend on their 2nd anniversary ... but when I met them, I realized this would not be a good idea. I could see how she battled with herself to decide, not wanting to disappoint her boyfriend - but in the end we decided it was probably better to stay on the ground. She revealed to him - and to me - that she had been seeing a psychologist for her anxiety of flying.

After they left, I treated myself to a bit of hangar flying before going home.

Hope the rest of their anniversary night was better ...

I just asked the Boyfriend to record Pointless Celebrities on Saturday. His immediate response: "okay, which one of them is on it?"

Really, am I so very predictable?

I made a couple of online surveys for work just now. Was allowed to choose the hour when the survey will close, so obviously took 23.58. :D

Another survey-related fun thing happened in the morning too. I had gotten an email about an online consumer survey. I misread the headline "Survey on the use of Adult Entertainment Medias" (it was really just Entertainment Medias). Unnecessary for me to fill in the survey, I thought. ;)
