Well the (rough) plot of Death Note is as follows:
There's a high school student - Light Yagami. He's a genius, and he's a bit of a pessimist, thinking that there are certain people (criminals and "scum" of all kinds) that the world would be better off without.
One day, he finds a notebook called the Death Note. Write somebody's name in the Death Note, and they die. Light starts using the Note to kill off criminals and try to make the world a better place.
The government is shocked at the mysterious deaths of criminals, and gets the help of a reclusive genius detective named L in order to track down the murderer.
Now, Light knows L is hunting him, and L knows that Light knows that he is hunting him, and each one of them attempts to succeed in their cause through an increasingly convoluted series of gambits and plots.
 
Also, to be honest, L's a possibly-autistic aroace and Light's a bored mad genius with massive plans, which is why I found them both so relatable.
 
I was messing with my phone and loaded up the Sirius XM app so I could drown out the silence at work. And when I looked at it I thought it said SMX and I thougt of SMX and then Loosey and the forum and all you guys and thought I needed a break from all this stupidness and thought I'd get into some madness instead.

How the hell is everyone doing? Hope you are all safe and sound. I'm still working (IT at a bank...so you know). I'm in the middle of the midwest where nothing is so not a lot of COVID scare here but we're being safe. Haven't seen my granddaughters in 6 weeks.

I would do almost anything for a cold beer on tap, and a Maiden concert with you all.....
