Oh yeah, Snoop Dogg performed at the casino/hotel I used to work at. Only show at the venue announced this year that had a second night added because of the sales and demand.

And rap artists have been doing arena shows since the 80s.

Actually, I think metal must be one of the biggest "promoters" of motor bikes and cars, particularly doing the 70s and 80s. Probabaly bigger than what rap has been doing with muscle cars in the 00s and beyond

Clapped-out old Fiestas with 1-litre engines that couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding, 0-60 in half an hour (downhill with a good tail wind - if they're lucky), stupid noisy exhausts and stupid oversized wheels that stick out past the sides of the car. Driver often wearing a peaked cap of Burberry check.
