Yesterday we had the bachelor party for a friend who is getting married three weeks from now. Poor bastard had to wear the shirt of Moss FK the whole day. Not only the shirt ... full kit!

We did an escape room contest, played football golf (which is exactly what you think it is, you try to kick a football into a hole with the fewest possible kicks), went to see Moss FK vs Fredrikstad FK (our local club, who won 3-0 :applause:) and we drank a lot of beer.

Then we went home to best man #1 (they are two who share the responsibility because the groom couldn't decide which one to ask, and asked both) to have a barbecue before watching the CL final on the big screen. Best man #2 (a Liverpool fan) wanted to have the groom wear a Liverpool shirt for the game, but he refused so forcefully our Liverpool-supporting friend decided to wear the shirt himself. He enjoyed the game a lot.

After the game the best men wanted to run a quiz about the guest of honor, but they were both so drunk it took them more than an hour to finish it :D

Moss see it that way. They were the better team in our county for quite some time, and they are the last team from around here to win the league (1987). They have been bitter that Fredrikstad has usually drawn more attention because we have more fans and a much more trophy-filled history if you go further back. When Fredrikstad for the first time in more than 15 years were playing in the same league as them in 2003 (tier 2) they were cocksure they would remain superior for a long time. We were promoted that season and they haven't played in the top flight since.

But from our perspective, Sarpsborg is the main rival. It is the neighbouring city, and despite the current incarnation of their football club, Sarpsborg 08, is only 11 years old, the rivalry between the cities goes back to the beginning of Norwegian football. Moss were nothing prior to 1970 and have been nothing after 2000. Sarpsborg 08 are currently in the top flight and have been running their club well for some time. We still occasionally draw larger crowds than them, on tier 3.

It still feels good beating Moss though :)

It's only 3. June and the temperature is already 33°, and for some reason, people think this is a good thing. Can't sleep because it's too hot, can't keep the window open because it's high season for the worst pollen, the only place that is pleasant is the library because it's climatised and people aren't allowed to tell you how nice and warm it is. Just the thought of three consecutive months of 30+ ahead is enough to drive me insane. This is supposed to be a temperate climate zone, ffs!

If you want to swap, it's on the cool and rainy side here.
