To be fair, most of those were no-brainers. :) That one was mainly based off of the numerous job-related rant thread posts which led me to believe that it was only a matter of time.

Surprising, I know! But I do recall witnessing some heated discussions on the proper way to rank things using the 1-10 scale..:p

Thing is, the job was a temporary thing from the first moment. I was never willing to invest much energy or ambition into it. Of course, I didn't tell my boss, and he thought I wanted to start a career with it. He kept appealing to my ambition during some of the tougher periods, and I really can't fault him for that. I think that's what frustrated me the most with all this.
Looking back, I don't actually have an emotional memory of the tough times. I remember what pissed me off, but I can't re-feel it. Looking back, it's the great personal things the job gave me opportunity for that dominate my memory, and I'm grateful for that.
 
Tell you something, this couldn't have been further from the first discussion we had on this topic.
