In other news; at the beginning of my flight today, I had to wait for an F-16 landing. Kjeller airport is home to one of the Royal Norwegian Air Force's maintenance centers, and two F-16s were out for test flights today. One landed right in front of me as I waited at the holding point. Before I was cleared for takeoff, I had to wait for a car to come and pick up the F-16s braking chute from the runway!

Just to make sure you get a big dose of jet envy.
