It's a huge non-sequitur. The fact that the Six Nations reserve doesn't have good water supply has very little to do with the industrial use of the land (which I am certainly against, but that's because I think bottled water should be illegal in non-emergency situations; it has everything to do with the failure of various levels of government to create the infrastructure modern communities require for good water supply.

I had a haircut today and also shaved completely. Taxi driver asked me what high school I'm going to. I'm 26 ffs. Now I'm not gonna shave again until 2019.

When doing these 12 hr work days for two weeks straight, you sort of lose track of what week day it is. That can lead to Saturday evening being spent lifting (and listening to, of course) metal. Heavy metal.

(The alternative would be no metal at all, which is a really bad option)

When I was 24 I once got stopped in the street by some officious old codger who sternly enquired "don't they want you in schoooooool today?" (emphasis his). I patiently explained that as I was 24 they hadn't wanted me in school for eight years. He just said "Hmmmmmm" (as though he sincerely doubted it) and then walked away.

People always tell you it's flattering, too. It might be flattering as a 40yo woman to be told you look like an 18yo, but it sure as heck isn't flattering to be told you look like a kid when you're in your late 20s. I gave up trying to get into bars in one town I lived in as a student, they always refused to believe my ID. Never had a problem in the nearest city, though.
