Tomorrow morning I'll get my radius sawed off by 2mm while being awake and only having local anesthesia. 1 1/2 hour surgery

That's metal as fuck (but I'm scared actually)
I wish you all the best and a swift recovery. Hopefully they'll let you have headphones so you can listen to some music to take your mind off it?

Children of the Beast fucking rule, I saw them twice. In one of the concerts, along with the usual merchandise, they were actually selling a studio CD of Maiden covers, including "2 Minutes To Midnight", "Be Quick Or Be Dead", "Infinite Dreams", "Rainmaker", "Alexander the Great", "Blood Brothers", "Stranger In a Strange Land", "Purgatory" and "Only the Good Die Young", along with 3 live bonus tracks ("The Trooper", "Powerslave" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name"). They're fucking awesome!

Primark in Belfast is ablaze. There will be many people going without socks and boxers for the foreseeable.

I was in town when it was starting, only the roof was on fire. First time I've seen a fire like that.

What you quoted is bullshit. Good Friday, for example, is not a statutory public holiday; Easter on the other hand, which isn't even on what you quoted, very much is. Scotland has four fixed-date statutory public holidays (25th, 26th DEC; 1st, 2nd JAN) and one floating statutory public holiday, namely Easter Monday. The remaining four are regionally determined; not everywhere in Scotland takes two holidays in May for example. Bank holiday entitlement is the same across Scotland; when those are taken is not.

So you can Obama it up all you want, but St. Andrew's Day still ain't a statutory public holiday & never has been...

All the best wishes in the big bad world for that special day ya big fanny.
