I may have mentioned this before...

Something quite specific to the NE of Scotland (assuming they are broadly spoken shire folk types) is they often sound wh as f.
e.g. "What is that?" literally becomes "fit is that?"

Judas looked like he was apeing Burns/Scots venacular. Burns was a lowlander (or at least, historically, a central lowlander); today, distant both geographically and culturally from Aberdeenshire and the NE.
