Welcome aboard, @MW564. As for the fabled prophecies - keep it down, for no man dare speak of them lest he be cast into the fires of the abyss!

Oh, and in accordance with standard MF practice regarding new members, I am contractually obliged to ask you which Maiden guitarist is your favourite?
Terry Wapram ;).

More seriously, I'm not a hugely knowledgeable as far as guitar is concerned, drums are far more my thing.

With that said H has the advantage of being all-knowing and all-seeing, so he gets my vote!

What other doors do we have in this estate?

Well, next to the Cult of H we find the profile pic swap meet and the Setlist Makers' Guild, and beyond that the multipurpose room (most recently used for the World Cup pool). Located down the other hall are Contrarians Anonymous (for those who spend too much time on the blasphemy thread), the storage area containing Perun's cheese and Foro's German cartoons, and finally the Games and Riddles Club (of which I assume you're a frequent visitor)

Where would a man go to theorize until eternity fails about the possibility of Alexander the Great being played live? The back alley?

I assume so, that or the cleaner's cupboard. Anywhere you can huddle under a dim lightbulb with Diesel 11 will suffice, in all honesty.

In other news, I wasn’t too impressed with King Diamond’s Abigail the first few times I heard it, but I listened to it again and wow, what a perfect album in concept and execution. I may just listen to it again tonight.

What are some other non-Maiden metal albums you love?
Let's see...

There's Ayreon's Into the Electric Castle, Blind Guardian's Battalions of Fear and A Twist In the Myth, Metallica's Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, Metallica and Death Magnetic, Epica's The Quantum Enigma, After Forever's Exordium and Remagine, Alice Cooper's Poison, Hey Stoopid and The Eyes of Alice Cooper (not quite metal, but you get the gist), Iced Earth's Horror Show, Dream Theater's Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory, Kamelot's The Fourth Legacy and The Black Halo... possibly a few others I'm not remembering right now.

Actually, despite Maiden being my favorite band of all time, metal itself is not really my thing; I'm not really a fan of any other metal artists. However, my dad is (has always been) an avid metal fan himself, so (as you can see) there are quite a few albums I like very much.

Interesting. I would say personally that metal is my preferred genre of music, but I'm not a metalhead. I just like what I like, explore music, listen to my favorites, and what have you.

Blind Guardian's Battalions of Fear
Since yesterday, I'm finally the owner of this album on CD! Bough it in the shopping mall. Looking forward to hearing it soon!
Also, good to see appreciation for After Forever. Probably the best band that is discussed the least out here.

I guess I will send the bill to the Greek Government. This could have been avoided if they didn't veto Macedonia out of the EU :D

Another reason why Bulgaria > Northern Macedonia

Just kidding.
