It's still hard to believe it took 28 years of being a Maiden fan to finally get my most 2 favorite songs by them(The Red And The Black and Empire Of The Clouds) as well as my most favorite album(The Book Of Souls). It sure has been one incredible journey though!

Cold not have avoided that, I guess.

Now I never was allergic (and obviously still amn’t), but there’s currently so much pollen in the air here that I have respiratory problems myself. Also, everything, cars, houses, roads, they are all

How about metallergy? A strong stinging sensation in the upper respiratory ways and eyes watering in close proximity to unrefined literary allusions and/or breaking of the fourth wall?

Well, back to Budapest for a conference ... I was hoping to go somewhere else, but it is the best conference at the best price ... had to get "mini vacation" out of my mind and remember why I am going.

Today's flying lesson: Go-arounds. We had planned to practice landing circuits today, but the wind would have none of that. When we did the engine ground check, the wind was sweetly aligned with the runway. As we taxied out, it had changed to a crosswind. And by the time we had completed the first circuit and were on final approach, it was now a tailwind. We tried another round and it was no better. Finally we did a little excursion and came back to land in the opposite direction, but the wind had once again turned. The result was that the instructor had to land, and he wasn't even happy with his own landing.

At least I got to hack away some rust after two weeks without flying. We're trying again tomorrow.
