Having a Facebook profile, and getting a reaction from your "friends" that you're full of yourself, upon reaching your birthday, means that you probably are. Because you have enlisted "friends" which react negatively on the notion. (Facebook "friends" that you don't know in real life excluded).

When anyone of us comes to work and says, yeah and btw. guys today is my birthday, everyone will congratulate, etc. and of course demand that you take everyone to hefty meal But no-one ever said I don't give a fuck.

Not true. The office drowns in sweets and snacks almost every day because it's always someone's birthday or name day. Also, it's cake day once a month to celebrate everybody's birthdays of the month. This day is in fact today. I actually don't hold a grudge against my company, I'm just not happy with my team leader.
