Yeah that's pure B.S.

I'd like to try it on myself, see what comes out. The Eastern Adriatic and adjacent Dinaric regions have a highly dominant indigenous haplogroup (I), with a strong presence of Slavic haplogroup (R2a). I do not understand this stuff enough. I think when they say that haplogroup peaks somewhere at 60%, it means that a particular trace gene is present in 60% of the sampled individuals, and not that the average sampled individual has his ancestry built 60% from this gene line? The former seems logical to me.

Knicker I gather these are mtDNA and Y chromosome tests combined, e.g. both mom and dad sides?

I've been told by a surname expert that my name comes from a pure Anglo Saxon settlement in Northumberland in an area completely overrun by Danes. So my ancestors had apparently turfed out some Vikings ...

This is purely based on the name, however, and I haven't done any serious research into this myself.

Nothing here was a surprise, except for the numbers. I always assumed I was equal parts Irish/Italian/German/Belgian. When my parents did their tests it revealed quite a bit of the UK as well (which, as others are saying, is all kind of hard to tell the difference anyway). Turns out I'm nearly 50% Irish/UK and way, way more Scandinavian than I could have ever hoped for!
