I complain about fuel prices but I also realize that I have no right too.

I've been to Paris once, it was not a good experience. A cab driver tried to charge me $100 for a 2 mile cab ride. This, of course, almost resulted in a fist fight. I only know a few words of French and he pretended not to speak English. It was a mess. I'd love to go back there though. I was in St. Lo in November, I enjoyed it much more there.

there's worst, one driver in Catania (Sicily) took me 30 € for half a mile ride

I gave the money with no hesitation : he was not even a real taxi, he had no taximetre
but yet -and apparently- a lot of connection with the mobs
I FUCKIN GAVE THE MONEY WITH NO QUESTIONS  :D

In that situation and in Sicily, yes! You must pay the money.

Now, in the immortal words of Arnold Schwartzenegger, "I'll be back."

yeah that's right, no questions in Sicily  :D

mama mia, how is beautifull

yet, it sounds to me strange your Paris experience ...it was long time ago ???

This happened in 2004 I believe. A quick cab ride from Charles de Gaulle to a nearby hotel. I am sorry to say I wasn't there long and had no time to do Paris properly. I look forward to returning someday.

I don't think Americains have the right to complain about the fuel prises !!
1.40 € /lt here, and it's not a joke

Damn, that is bad... I think only California can rival those prices, I know Mexico is as if not more expensive than that.
