While you all are busy getting drunk to Maiden, I've been listening to Sabaton again. Regarding the Metal Machine, Metal Crue, and Metal Ripper, I actually think they're pretty good. They showcase the band's love for those that inspired them and are rather touching tributes. Though Crue and Ripper could've used some better names, but eh.

Oh, I like their Metal songs. For a hateful rant on the topic, turn to @MrKnickerbocker.

The metal songs are garbage. I don't listen to Sabaton for songs about wizards (see Metalizer) and I don't listen to Sabaton to hear them play metal songs about metal bands playing metal songs.

I listen to Sabaton for heavy Abba.
