I really, really love summer, despite everything that annoys people occasionally. You know - heat and stuff. I really don't mind any of it. But there is one thing about this summer that makes me want to scream and hide under a blanket until it's Christmas:
Des - pa - cito!

When I first heard Despacito, it sounded like every other Latin American summer hit song to me. After being exposed to it a lot in Bulgaria I discovered that it does have some charm, more than the average hit radio song anyway. I don't know why you Balkans go and overplay it.

Probably the worst thing about living in Ottawa is that every couple months a deluge of anti-abortion protesters will fill the street just outside my work. I never know of it in advance so when I go for my lunchtime walk I come back amped up and wanting to punch people. I hate anti-abortion protesters.

Recommendations for a week in Ireland, GO! Gimme drinks/food/sights/etc, gonna be there for a week in middle Sept.
A week is actually a decent amount of time to explore Ireland. Dublin is awesome, as is the Western part of the country. Stay away from other major cities, like Cork -- they suck. Cliffs of Moher are a must. Ring of Kerry is too. Kilkenny is a cool little medieval town. I also really liked Connemara/Kylemore Abbey. We splurged and stayed here for a couple nights, and loved it: http://www.ballynahinch-castle.com/ (go fishing if you can). If you play golf, try Ballybunion or Lahinch -- they are seaside links courses, windy and cold, brutally difficult, but memorable experiences. Frankly, Blarney Stone can be skipped, it's a tourist trap.
Food: lamb; mussels. Drink: Guinness, Guinness and more Guinness.

When I listen to Caught Somewhere in Time, the intro always catches me and makes me move. For a few moments, I feel like I'm hearing what other people hear on this track, the people who give it a 10/10. And then Bruce starts singing, and it's obvious he just doesn't care. He sounds like shit on the song, and on half of Somewhere in Time in general, and it really ruins the mood and album for me.
