Stormy night, some winds and rains and this week starts with very nice weather, 30 degrees C with light breeze, right now (noon). Otherwise, the weather is face melting. I handle heat well but I don't like sweating while being outside. As I get older it becomes a problem.

We had a ton of thunder and lighting and rain yesterday. I need to go to my parents' house to cut the lawn, so hopefully no more rain today.

I have this image of two Scotsmen standing out and looking up.

"Aye, MacDuff, what's that odd bright thing in the sky?"
"Well, MacDonald, that's tha sun! Tis a mythical creature!"

Young Wiz - "One day, I too, will understand the strange beings that conquer the sun in Scottish skies. I hear they are called...clouds."

I have a friend at uni who went to high school with me. He entered this uni 2 years before I did, but even with a 2 year advantage, few weeks ago I managed to surpass him in number of exams left. Last 6 months or more I've been trying to motivate him to pass the friggin' exams by pressuring him into going to classes and the library with me. Also since he doesn't really have a lot of money, I'd even buy the literature for the exams twice, then I'd give one copy to him pretending I bought it twice by accident (which tbf did happen to me a few times <_<). I even timed my exams so that we have them in the same day. Even did one whole presentation and essay and then shared the credit with him. So in the past few weeks he's been in the library regularly. Wouldn't stay as long as me, but it's a start. Few days ago I went to his place to fix his computer, and since his computer started working again, he stopped coming to the library (and probably stopped studying too) altogether  Also his dog bit me on the way out and he didn't even apologize.
