I just wrote a song in my dream :confused:

The instrumentation was there, the beat was there, everything was rhyming and vocal melodies were there. Went on for a couple of minutes, after the chorus was over I woke up to realize I had been dreaming the song all the way through. Took my phone and noted down the chorus and what I could remember. Sadly forgot about the instrumentation and the beat.

At the end I was left with a chorus and only two verses. But this was insane. The best part is, I had planned to force myself to wake up early in order to fix my sleeping pattern but it was really a pipedream, this woke me up at 8:30 feeling fresh and I had gone to bed just a couple of hours earlier.

So upon hearing that HIM, a band I had no idea still existed, announced that they are going to disband, I felt the sudden urge to put on a song of theirs for the first time in over 15 years. I never thought I'd see the day on which I can say this: Holy shit, this music sounds so 2000s.
 
Some new bands are gaining popularity here, with guys my age or even younger. Fuck, I want to do band stuff but I'm clearly the most enthusiastic one in my group.
 
I'm a huge fan of HIM. A tour with them and Type O Negative co-headlining would have been so amazing! Ville has been working on a project called Rambo Rimbraud. He has said they eventually plan to release some material. Hopefully he'll continue that.
