@Niall Kielt Ah, you're in for a treat. Mind ye - he's a president.

- When two Czech citizens were kidnapped in Pakistan, he began shouting Allahu akbar at the TV cameras, as a joke.

- He keeps comparing himself to Churchill, so he keeps appearing completely shitfaced in public and smoking everywhere (I believe he tortured a poor British reporter with second hand smoke two or three weeks ago - poor bloke allegedly kept staring at him in disbelief).

- He's a fighter for freedom of speech. In order to fight political correctness, his presidential interview (judging and condemning the Pussy Riot girls in Russia) he kept throwing around the word "cunt" ... well, the Czech equivalent (because "pussy", according to him, means "cunt"). In the same interview he said the Government has "completely fucked up" the Service Act.

- He once wished "death to all the vegetarians and teetotalers". A tongue in cheek comment, no doubt, but some foreign newspapers have taken it seriously.

- His speech in the European Parliament - "My European Dream does not include the steak in the centre of European Commission which looks like a bubble bum and taste like a bubble bum.“

-
He suggested that mowing down our Prime Minister with a machine gun might not be such a bad idea.

- He said that our best Czech journalist praised Hitler and after two years of searching of said article (paid by the taxpayer's money, no less) he apologised - not that he said that, he apologised the article not being found.

etc etc.

Sometimes it is hard to decide for yourself in life. Some friends of mine want to go to Amsterdam during autumn break. Now that sounds fun and all, and definitely would be for a while, but being stuck with five guys for five days, two of whom are often obnoxious, can drive me mad. They expect me to go, though, saying no would be a big disappointment for them. What do?

I would go. Obnoxious or not, they obviously care that you will be there with them. I'd see that as more important. Also, you'll go to Amsterdam! I've never been there myself. :) Even if you've been there, it's a change in stereotype and something new or somewhat unusual.
