Sounds like a real charming sort.
Just checked and he didn't post anything about the parade, but his cover photo is a picture from a football match with the "fans" waving a banner that says something like:
"Babies should be born, is the message from the North, we don't want Serbia to be the land of faggots." North being the stand of those fans at the stadium, not the Starks :P I'm baffled as to why he cares so much about what other people do with their lives. If you ask me, less children should be born into this world since that'd mean there's less chance of morons like him being born. Or morons like him breeding.

I just watched the first episode of Outlander. Heard lots of old words. ;-)

No clue what it means but I am curious to know.

For all the hatred they feel for each other, I feel like Serbs and Turks have so much in common. (Russians too)

Not in a good way.

Yes, backward nations hate each other, that's the moral of the story; a lot of them still around on the Old Continent

The word was originally used to describe dogs "staring longingly at food", in order to be given some. Later it came to describe more broadly people who stare at you (or your food) while you eat, in the hope that you'll share some of it with them.

E.g. Your mate staring at your sausage supper after a night out. Why didn't he buy his own food at the chippy? The stare is usually followed by "gies a chip".
