Took my son to Comicpalooza last weekend (big sci fi convention in Houston). Tons of booths with memorabilia about movies, comics, TV, games. Bought several posters. Tons of autographs for sale (not my thing to buy but cool to look at). Cast of Aliens assembled for short 30th anniversary talk but the room was full; couldn't get in.
Lots of cool cosplay. Too bad the food and parking were overpriced.
