Do the first karaoke performance of The Apparition, ever done. Jump on and off the ruins and in and out of rooms while doing this. Take a video recording of this.
 
Work bought a bunch of beer and wine for the party at the conference, and then after we moved back, they asked for the extras back.

My boss emailed and said, "There was only a couple bottles of beer left. Not worth saving."

By a couple, he meant over four dozen. That I took home.

Unfortunately, my plans to recreate these images with my wife and son were thwarted by the fact that
a) the staircase is currently closed to the public (I can only assume it's become the Maiden equivalent of the Abbey Road zebra crossing)
b) my son spent so long shouting at the guinea fowl that we didn't get a chance to pose for the exterior shot before we had to leave

However, we have a season ticket, and so I will promise to return to follow through on @Forostar's suggestion before the year is through.

In the meantime, we did have time to recreate the cover for an extremely rare, but classic, Iron Maiden single, the photo for which was also shot on location at Margam Park on the same day. (In the image, I am posing as Bruce, my wife as Steve and Reuben as Nicko. As in the original image, Janick and Dave are hiding behind the wall at the right of the image).
