My grandmother's Christmas cakes were legendary. They seemed to include most of a bottle of brandy per cake. If the cake wasn't perfect, she threw it out for the birds.
 
I got pissed on a Tuesday morning at 9 am after an exam once. Had class later that day. No whining involved.
 
You guys that are currently attending college, how does your average day look like in that respect?
 
Just want to warn anyone who is part of the Iron Maiden FC about something. Today I got an email about winning various stuff (Download tickets, turntable, headphones) and one of the ways to win is to follow the official Iron Maiden playlist on Spotify. DO NOT FOLLOW THE PLAYLIST IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE TOUR SETLIST SPOILED. The description at the top says that it now includes the tour setlist and I saw couple of songs at the top of the playlist. What I saw for sure wasn't a surprise at all but there was another one that I might have seen which was surprising.

I can't wait for June 12th and have it all over with. ::)

Well I have tried it. Had three glasses of red wine, two glasses of vodka and two shots of tequila one night. It wasn't anything different than being sleepy, so I don't think I was drunk. Probably just a bit light-headed. I think my alcohol tolerance is remarkably high for someone who doesn't drink that much.
 
Well, it sure is indeed.

It can also depend on how much and when you eat when you're drinking. In Poland, people can eat a lot when they party (and drink!). After every glass of vodka: eat.

I used "Pink elephants" in Turkish in a conversation in the same context yesterday without realizing it was an actual figure of speech. Or I did, subconsciously.
