I could join in this random punching of letters by thumping my fist on my keyboard several times, but I have a laptop and delicate components live underneath.

Birthday's are always good - for me at least. The only problem is that the older you get, the more people forget it.

I was in the car earlier on today, and Air Traffic Control where on the radio giving us, the listener, their playlists. They would say things like "I was rummaging through my Dad's record collection and found this gem....", etc. The same sort of music that was popular when I was at school - does wonders to some who may be paranoid about their age. Worry not, your age is something you can never have control over - just live it. :D

Anyway, one of the tracks they played was an old Jam classic - Eton Rifles. This song had such a brilliant opening verse:

Sup up your beer
And collect your fags
There's a row going on
Down near Slough.

Love it. :D

Glad you had fun  ;)

My bday is coming up in January, and I hope we have snow on the ground! And I hope we have a white Christmas too! Thius may be a stupid question, but does London have white Christmases a lot? It seems to me you get lots of rain over there. But do you get blizzards and such? I'm curious  :)

...Hey no5, I have 444 posts! 111 more to go!  :D

London gets a white Christmas about once every 10/12 years, or so. Snow blizzards are as rare as well (if not rarer). Most of our snowfall occurs in January and (at worst) just covers the ground up to 1 foot deep.

However, when the temperature drops below -1 and a few snowflakes start to settle, the whole country goes in to a complete state of panic.

So do I, as long as I don't have to live with it. I'll visit it, have hot cocoa and engage in small chitchat. But have to deal with it's cold demeanor that fills up the entire house and sometimes gets out of control and doesn't even let you leave the house? or messes with your car... talk about controlling! Yeah, that's NOT cool.

I must admit that snow paints a great picture of any landscape. But then again, that's all its good for.
