Hopefully Sabaton will keep their new album every 2 years streak going and do a headline tour here in the USA next year as well. I read they got a super great reaction when opening for Nightwish.

Most classes cancelled for today at uni. I would celebrate normally but the reason for cancelation is, well, you know.

It's actually more about the tensions in the campus in reaction to the attack. There were quite a few protests inside the campus when I went there, I think they're afraid of fights breaking out between opposite-thinking students and police meddling in the situation. And you know how "police meddling in on protests" go like here.

My uni itself has sadly lost a student in the attack. Saw her pictures everywhere around the campus today.
 
We're 6 days away from voting in Canada, and the Liberal Party is pushing slowly ahead. The NDP, the more left-wing party, is dropping in support. The Conservatives (the enemy) are sticking at around 32%; in 2011, they won a majority government with 39.6% of the vote.
 
Finally broke down and bought two albums from Polish cult thrashers Turbo, Kawaleria Szatana and Epidemie. The former I've heard about since 2013, seeing it frequently on tshirtslayer and sites like that. Something about the album artwork kept creeping its way into my mind. After hearing ADX's Execution for the first time a few weeks ago, I was convinced I need to checkout more foreign speed/thrash. I'll tell you guys if these albums are any good or not when I receive them (hopefully) next week.
 
For people here who record their music, what do you use? Recording straight to PC through mics, recording through a specific recording device, whatever it is. I've grown sick of not being able to record my stuff properly and am looking for solutions. Do consider the reason I haven't been able to buy any recording equipment is because me and my family are in a horrible place financially, so I can't splash big money here.
