I guess it's too easy to get recruited, so way too many people study it. Employers don't need people with that education anymore. See, we have that mentality in Poland now, that everybody has to study in order to get successful (which is bullshit). Hence, people beset humanities, because, as I mentioned, they seem to be relatively easy to study. Here it's the best to pick technical stuff - it has the greatest prospects.Why is that? Too many people studying it? Not enough need for employment? They're not exactly "meh" departments.
