Why would I do that if it's not a pleasant taste?
This isn't important.
To forget.
This is a good reason to drink.
I'm having a beer. Once in every six months, I have a beer to give it a shot to grow on me. Still hasn't happened.
Yeh, you really need to step it up a bit.

For example, have a wee bottle of beer at night with your dinner. At the weekends (or any other evening when you don't need to get up in the morning for something important) maybe try having more than one beer. Say, three or four. Keep ignoring the fact that some beer tastes crap. Always have beer in your fridge; you never know when you might need one. When you feel thirsty during the day, reach for a beer instead of water (or whatever it is that you'd normally drink). Start celebrating small events in your life with beers. Start drinking beers & talking about how many beers you've already drunk. Start making friends with people who drink far more than you (perhaps dangerously so) & try & keep up with their rate of consumption over an evening. Learn to drink quickly. Start calling your drinking time sessions. Start briskly; maybe a pint every half hour would be good. Frequent places that sell beer, that's also important. Drink beer until you're literally full of liquid. Recognise, as sessions progress, that a piss-a-pint is a perfectly normal ratio. Drink until you've forgotten how many you've drunk. Try downing a whole pint, to get through beers quicker. Find some Scottish folk.

Having something with the beer helps to manage the taste. When I was first starting university (back in the day...) I struggled a lot with beer but I would have a pint with a can of coke to wash the crappy taste away then after a while I was able to handle the taste better.

Start playing pool & drinking beer, I find that helps. I really like pool. And the more I drink the better I get. Or perhaps who I'm playing gets worse. Not sure about that. Anyway, pool & beer rocks.

Never mind this nonsense. Eating food just takes up room which could be for beer. Food makes beer taste worse, not better. Think of beer as food. What would happen if you didn't eat? You'd die. You don't want that, so drink beer.

I'll just stick to fruit wine instead. That gets you drunk, actually quicker than beer does as I've found out before, AND tastes great.

Blackberry wine, blueberry wine, raspberry wine, sour cherry wine. All recommended. Especially blueberry wine. That one is absolutely brilliant.

I kinda had the same opinion as Flash up until 2-3 years ago. Then I started drinking foreign beer with higher percentage of alcohol and it made a big difference... Serbian beer is quite shit.

Agreed. Once you get beer that tastes like something, whatever that something is, you'll like it more. It also helps that I was a whiskey drinker before I came to enjoy beer, so the taste of heavy alcohol only made me more enthused.
