We just had a bit of a storm in Denver... this is what it looked like over the venue Maiden usually plays...

You know, the kind of rain that washes trucks away.

Not my pic. That was about 5 miles south of me. That one didn't become a tornado but it was close. What's coming down there is rain and hail.

The truck getting washed away was about 5 miles north of me. That area is prone to flash floods because it's entirely flat, no streams for water to drain to. I've seen that part of town flood two feet deep in under an hour before, when I used to work up there.

Tyre company Goodyear has announced plans to close its only UK manufacturing plant. All 330 workers at the Wolverhampton site are expected to lose their jobs. The US company, which plans to transfer the site's operations elsewhere, said the move would "strengthen its competitiveness in the face of a challenging business environment".
