Yep. Pretty remarkable, huh? I'm obviously aware of the New Wave of Heavy Metal and I've seen the Metal Evolution documentary on the subject, but there was obviously something going on in London in the latter half of 1979 that was pretty special and that we'll never fully understand. Would've been fun to be a part of it.

That used to not be all that uncommon ... what are now considered epic albums coming out in the same day or same month. Namely when bands released an album a year. I'd always go in record stores for one album and find an album from another band I like that I had no idea existed.
