I think Brigs got it right. A straight definition for 'bootnail' doesn't seem to exist. I found the word in a poem in 4th grade (I was 10 then) and decided to use it as a username.
@Saapanael they're traditionally known as hobnails, but not very common these days. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobnail

I just read that Corrosion of Conformity is recording a new album with Pepper Keenan starting in January! Including COC, that means we'll see new albums next year from Maiden, Symphony X, Armored Saint, Kamelot, Seventh Wonder and Nightwish. 2015 is going to rock!
