classic
Kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time
= as classic as it gets, I remember it when I was a kid being in the top ten love quotes in the movies history
Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

The problem was that it was for American residents (I think - I deleted it without reading further) hence the $ value. Even if it was for UK folk, I could not spend £1000 in MacDonalds in a life time.

it deppends ..........how many euros is one pound ?

just a thought : I imagine the MC Do promoters searching for UK residents to send the american offers, while sending to the US residents the British ones  :D :D

I think it's something like 1.5 Euro to the £

so let's say 1.500€ ...10€ environ /menu (hambourger, frites & drink)---> 1500 /10 =150 menus
:spam2: :S
yes you would have needed some help  ;)

$1.00=.4922 or so pounds...

It's expensive! so if I would want a Maiden shirt in London, 17 pounds is $34...it was the same when my husband was there in 1998. You need $2 just for one pound. And when they went to different countries, they had to exchange monies: French francs, Holland guilders...English pounds. Although pounds are still in effect today. The Euro was put in place around 2000 or so, right?

On the other hand, $1.00=1.39 Euros...that sounds like a better rate

Good morning no5!  :D

yeah €uro made all things more expensive, but for exercising tourism is a paradise... you want to go to Spain ? to Portugal ? to Italie ? to Greece ? or even Germany, Finland, or even Amsterdam ? (independant state  :halo:)

no problem ! I remember with horror the time when I had to change money to the banks to make a trip abroad ...horrible !!

*edit*

oups ! very good morning PeeGee!
