Hm. lars Ulrich is on the list but James Hetfield is not? I thought they, as co-founders of the band, would have earned more or less the same. Oh well, maybe Hetfield drank it all up before he sobered up.

The one that got me that way was Michael Anthony being the only member from Van Halen.

I'm really stunned by the success of Coldplay. I always thought they were just moderately popular, but they really are high up on that list. I remember someone mentioning on here about one of their US tours being enormously profitable.

Lars has made a lot of appearances on various shows, panels etc, could be because of that. However, this type of lists are never reliable.

Or maybe Hetfield has donated millions of USD to organizations taking care of dogs who have been mistreated by their owners, to make up for kicking Dave Mustaine's dog back in 1983 and win himself some Kanid Karma?

Frank Zappa at #96? He's been dead for over 20 years. They list the heirs of Lennon and Harrison, why not Dweezil?
It's possible that Dweezil keeps his father's money tied up in a holding co. under daddy's name, allowing him to take in the Zappabucks as a corporation rather than an individual, and pay himself a nice salary.

They're football players, not geographers.
