What's the harm in taking one, single pic of him? It's easy for us to say different, but if one of us got on a plane and saw Bruce sitting there, we might react a bit differently.

LMAO. I just posted a comment on a YouTube video and then after scrolling down a bit, I realized that I posted the exact same thing with another account one year ago. There's not a single change.

That's cool. Normally my opinion changes with age on just about everything slightly.

That is pretty funny :p

1. It's rude doing it without permission when the guy clearly wants to be left alone (on the picture above).
2. It's also pointless. If it's you and Bruce in the picture, cool, but just him is pointless.
This. Not to mention it's plain creepy. How would you like it if you were relaxing on a plane and someone was creeping on you trying to take your picture without you noticing?

I don't know how I'd react to seeing Bruce on an airplane, but I know I wouldn't be creeping on him like that.

I have a very strict "treat celebrities like anyone else" policy. That means I don't approach them, I don't ask for pictures with them, unless that's the point of the exercise.

This actually comes into play in small-town Antigonish. That's how come the coach of the Ottawa Senators and I are on a first-name basis.. Well, he knows my name.

I don't think there's anything wrong with approaching a celeb, depending on the situation. If they're in a nice restaurant or obviously trying to rest on an airplane, then I'd say it's inappropriate. If you catch them on the street just hanging out, I suppose there's nothing wrong with saying hello and showing appreciation for their work. It's all situational IMO.

Again, it's very easy to have that kind of policy until you're actually in a situation. If I saw Bruce on a plane, it would be damn tempting to take a pic of him.

I can get free tickets for Sabaton for Sunday, but got no one to go with :( I wouldn't mind if it was in Belgrade, but it's not and it'd be very very boring to go alone.

Most of the time, I walk around in a Maiden or metal shirt anyway. I guess if I saw Bruce, he'd see I recognise him right away, and I'd just look at the way he reacts to decide on what to do. I've met a few musicians from bands I like, including Blaze and Steve, and... they were all just normal people, really. I don't get why somebody would stutter or start sweating when they talk to them.

Because stuttering and sweating does not depend on how down-to-earth musicians are but on how the fan in question sees them. Which can lead to near-heart-attack situations at airports and so on.

Speaking of shops, the last job offer I had turned out to be unavailable but now I have the chance to be a shopkeeper :D. Don't know how to feel about that. The good things are experience and money but the bad thing is that it starts at 8 in the morning, meaning that I have to wake up approximately 5 hours earlier than I currently do. Also, I'm not really excited about talking to strangers all day. A great dilemma indeed...

I've done a lot of retail, mate. I actually like it, because I like customer service. But people are also idiots and assholes. Just relax and be yourself and be prepared to talk about weather. A lot.

It helps if the store sells something you have an interest in, since you will be talking about the products most of the day
