Albums I listened to today...

Death - The Sound Of Perseverance
Sirenia - At Sixes And Sevens
In Flames - Subterranean
Emperor - Prometheus - The Discipline of Fire and Demise

Must say, the Sirenia is the worst out of those, although it's pretty damn good.  You can tell that Morten Veland's slipping after 'Beyond The Veil'; he throws out some great ideas, but then pads them out with lots of woolly stuff, and a non-too convincing female vocalist.  A very good listen, mind, but on the 'must buy' list?  Perhaps not.

One of the funniest things I ever read about Veland's split with Tristiania was from the BNR Metal Pages relating to Sirenia:
