Yet another protestor (protesting the omissions that led to Soma coalmine disaster) was shot by the police in Turkey today. The bullet went straight into his mouth, got stuck in his neck and paralyzed him. He's in critical condition. Happened just an hour after Erdoğan's statement saying "If I was a dictator, you wouldn't be able to do protests on the streets."

Announced dead, unfortunately.

Yeah. I know, crazy??

I am tired of shoveling it, looking at it, driving in it and freezing in it. I don't like the cold much at all. Can't ride my motorcycle in it. I wanna be warm all year round! I don't want to have to drive a 4x4 just to get to work :)

I can see the motorcycle part, but the rest ...? Shoveling it is good exercise, which I try to get every day anyway. Looking at it? Well, seeing as the alternative around here is rain, I'll have the snow - thank you very much. Freezing in it? Only if the temperature goes down toward 253 K :D

I really just hate snow anymore. :(
Like I said, Vancouver. It doesn't fit the Canadian stereotype.
One of the mildest climates in North America.

Measurable snow less than nine days a year on average.
Average annual total snowfall, less than half a meter.
I shovelled just once this year and that's pretty normal.

It rarely gets below 0C and it never hits -10C Average winter high temperature, 7C (that's 45F)

Now if you despise rain, that's another story.
