Is it Voldemort? SORRY, HE WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED!

I have a mild phobia of stairs and height. Someone (accidentally) pushed me down a flight of stairs when I was a kid. I stay away from balcony fences and stuff like that. And stairs where you can see underneath, or the ones that are on a high open space (tough to explain). I just freeze or choose another way. When I visited Leaning Tower of Pisa I managed to get to second to last floor before I froze and had to go back. Nowadays I rarely think of it much, but I still have to hold on the railings when I climb stairs.

I used to be really scared of heights when I was younger and for a while I hated escalators and railway bridges. I'm fine with it now but there's no way I'd stand on the edge of a cliff though!

Magpies Brig?

You should have never mentioned it, Brig. Now we're all curious. :P

Thunderstorms would be considered my phobia. Though, it's pretty mild.

Won't be of interest to many, but a tank graveyard in the Ukraine - left overs from the breakup of the soviet union. I guess they could've done with keeping them in working order:

Asides from the removal costs I am surprised that they aren't being grabbed by museum's. I'd say I'd take one, but then as cool as it would be to own one it would pretty much just sit there doing nothing so it would be rather pointless, still, surprises me that so many things just sit around rusting.

They're expensive to maintain, even in museum condition, let alone running condition. And moving a many-tonned vehicle that can't really drive on its own is even more expensive.
