I need to find a picture of Scott Ian as he was back 20 years ago - now that was a long goatee. He then shaved it off - but it's back again.

You see, Kerry King's hair wasn't shaved off.  Nor did it start falling out.  It just migrated to his chin. :D

If you watched that Slayer vid above, you may have noticed it crashes and burns half way through. So here it is again - in its entirety.

About that vid, Tom Araya actually said to the crowd that they needed to mime to a backing track to make the video. That did not go down well at all and the plug was quickly pulled on that idea.

That whole gig was sublime though. Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, Megadeth and Slayer on the same bill. :D
 
You wanna talk about weight gain, although not drastic, I don't think:

Bruce would pick up Murray during Number Of the Beast...they did it from Powerslave-7th Son, then they stopped after Janick joined. Then the reunion and Bruce picked up Davey again in 1999 and Davey broke his pinkie finger? Now Bruce is shorter than Davey by like...I dunno, 3 inches (5'6" Bruce 5'9" Davey) and he picked him up? Davey should have picked Bruce up! hehe

Actually, I think Bruce should have picked H up a few times...H probably got jealous  :lol:

You might have noticed they usually try to hide it in photographs.  Eg. On the back cover of the booklet for AMOLAD, the picture is taken at an upwards angle and Bruce stands a bit forward from the other guys.  This cleverly disguises his height.

Ah well, you don't need to be tall when you've got balls like him  :P
 
Good point Invader, Bruce has a lot of balls, and he can still belt out Run To the Hills! He's almost 50 (well, OK, 49..he's the youngest in the band) and still sings the high stuff decently!

I still hope one day H will sing lead on a Maiden tune...even though he did that Hackney gig over 20 years ago, and the ASAP thing in 1989, he still has a great singing voice, IMO...but then this is coming from an H lover  :wub: I alone can't influence the band  ;)

Now what about Mr. Murray?  :P Who knows??
