I feel embarrassed.
Now I'll shut up and get working because Saap will wake up soon and won't be over the moon with the small talk here.

Why is it that nice people always seem to be targets for things being said about them that aren't true? Today at work, I found out that someone told one of my supervisors, which I have no problems with, that I called her a bitch. My other supervisor who works on Sunday's too was a victim of the same. So, Supervisor A was thinking this whole time that Supervisor B and I thought she was a bitch and didn't like her. She was uncomfortable working Sunday's with us all because someone decided to be a jerk and say that. I was shocked when she told me and I told her right away that I've always liked her and never had any issues with her. That made her happy, of course.

Some people are idiots - it's a sad fact. Some are also douchebags.

If I were the boss I'd consider having that other person moved to some other department. People who play games like that are detrimental to work morale and need to be taught a lesson. If the same happened again, that maker of rumours should be fired. It's both unprofessional and outright mean.

You're exactly right. I have no idea who the person is because my super wouldn't say and you know what? I don't care to know. It's just better that way. I get along with everyone there and I don't need someone to ruin that for me. I'm just going to keep doing what I've been doing and not change a thing. If that person doesn't like it? Screw them. I shouldn't worry about pathetic people like that. I am who I am and I'm happy about that. :)

Surely a good manager would have some doubts about an employee telling them something like that in the first place? If someone did call them a name, it's not a helpful gesture to pass that information on to them! Anyway, you could be out of there and on to something better soon.

I think it was more of a matter of my supervisor maybe being friends with the person who told her? Plus, she's kind of an insecure person at times and doesn't like confrontation so she didn't bother with it. Now she's told us and knows the truth, I don't know what will happen now. And yes! I will be out of there hopefully sometime next year. :D
