I feel I've had enough food for a week!

I suppose it would be the birthday I'm attending tomorrow. Over a 100 people, most of whom I don't know. And there's another birthday on the very next day. I don't even know if I'm supposed to give a gift or something :D.
I'm sure you'll be fine but I know how you feel. I use to be pretty shy and I still am to some degree but I've come out of my shell a lot since my teen years so situations like that I use to dread but now, it's not so bad. I still get a tinge of anxiety here and there but I just try and make the best of it and you should too. Who knows, maybe you'll have fun! Also, maybe just get them a card if you're unsure on a gift. Just to be on the safe side. :P

Sipping wine and watching the last (American) football game of the day.

Phew, I'm just beat. At least I get to get up and go to work in the morning. :)

Speaking of misheard lyrics, for a long time I thought the lyrics said No remorse, no regret.
It even makes sense.

Since waking up I've been freezing my ass off, and then grandpa proudly exclaims how he opened all the windows at 5am and reduced the temperature inside to 10°C. It's -3°C outside. ::)

Wtf, people from outside Berlin know the Olsenbande?

(Yes, I know its'sfrom Denmark)

The Danish films inspired a series of Norwegian ones as well. Some were mere remakes of the Danish ones, others were original. A Swedish film series was also made (called Jönssonligan).

Its another beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Its a balmy -6 C out, my breath freezes in the air.

My son has a friend from college over this weekend. He is from San Diego and said he was going to the beach on Christmas Day :)

Those are nice!

I'm at work, surfing the 'net, trying to decide what my kids want for xmas.... I was thinking hard about a puppy for my girls, but I hafta admit, I'm not sure I'm ready for all the work with one of those... :/

That's a good idea but they do require a lot of work and you'd have to be sure that your daughters are willing and ready to help with that too.

I'm sure they would love to help-- the younger one is really good with that. However, I go out of town on weekends I don't have the kids home... and that would hafta change some with a puppy. I'm kinda selfish. Also, my youngest is 14, so I'll be the one keeping it once she rolls off to college in 4 years... I'd be better off getting them something that can be put in a closet and turned off :)
