Had a good time, thanks. I ended up at the front all night and still managed several drinks! It was PL's 25th anniversary tour, so they played a real mix of music from early days to present day. They've gone through quite a few distinct phases, so as 'Grumpy Nick' Holmes put it, going through the setlist: "It's like a completely different band." His stage manner is odd to say the least, he mostly singles people out and takes the piss, which was funny at times - like when he pointed out the 'middle aged mosh pit' in the middle - but he kind of says nothing much else.

As I did mention in another thread somewhere, Lacuna Coil, who played before PL, stole the show a little. They had real stage presence and got the audience going.
And the first band on, Katatonia, weren't exactly nobodies either, and had their own fans there. So everybody was a bit worn out by time PL came on.

Awesome! Two strong opening bands for sure...at least Paradise Lost is not afraid of having a little competition. Never seen them myself but now I'm like...what if I get pointed out y'know....;)

Customers, Wizard, customers. That's a common mistake as well.
Argh, fuck.
