Well....I've decided that this year I'm going to go as a My Little Pony.... Not sure if anyone here knows of the whole My Little Pony/Brony fandom thing but I'm slightly apart of that.

Oh yes, one of my best friends is into that. Definitely not my thing though. :p

I've never even watched the show, but I have a good feeling that it's not something I'd really enjoy :p

Lost on a cold sea
A needle through my heart, ice in the air
I'm all alone now
Except the frost that cracks my sails, the bite of the fear

Followed the trade winds
Discovery was my goal, what would I find?
It's all forgotten
Then in the sky there came a sign

Five stars to point you homeward
Five stars to draw you out
Five stars, your guide from nowhere
Five stars.....
The Cross of the South

I like those. Or how about:

I close my eyes and take a breath
And taste the salt upon my lips
I feel the breeze go through my hair
And hear the seagull's howling cry

I take a stroll across the planks
And watch the waves in rise and fall
I gaze into the lonely night
And let the stars take me away

(Unleash furious guitars)

The wind is straight, our sails are set
We're guided by the tidal waves
The route is free, our hopes are high
We pray to God along the way

Guide our journey
Into the unknown
Save our souls and
Take us away

The raging storm along the Cape
We hold on fast brace ourselves
The ship now heels to starboard side
We still make our way around

(Raging Janick solo)

Guide our journey
Into the unknown
Save our souls and
Take us away

The Cross of the South in heavens above
The Cross of the South will guide us along
To carry us on to the light of tomorrow
The Cross of the South will take us away

We spot the light along our journey
We carry forward night and day
We see new lands rise up before us
Pass them by and sail away

(Passionate Dave Solo)
(Perfect H Solo)

The sails are set to take us home
We take our last look to the line
The foreign lands still beckon on us
They call us back on all our days

Guide our journey
Into the unknown
Save our souls and
Take us away

The Cross of the South in heavens above
The Cross of the South will guide us along
To carry us on to the light of tomorrow
The Cross of the South will take us away

(Repeat calm intro)

The stars guided us back home
And now I close my eyes again
The winds keep calling me back out
To see the cross at night again

Somebody just sent this to me and I'm totally losfer words. After hearing this I might actually start hoping for a zombie apocalypse. Looks like we desperately need a restart button.

It's funny that when this video found its way here, it was not via the forum's most active Norwegian (me) :D

Good morning from me.

Getting my car inspected today which means I get a ride to work from the husband and I don't have to worry about shitty traffic. :D

Yeh, it's quite typically theatre (i.e. loose) I suppose. Although, having said that, I'm no theatre buff. I am, though, pretty interested in earlier Weird literature, including early (i.e. later 18th & early 19th cent.) Gothic literature e.g. Shelley's Frankenstein.
