Went to a baseball game last night (A's versus Rangers in Arlington, TX) ... My wife got tickets for me and the kids to go for Father's Day, we had awesome seats. Justice Alito threw out the first pitch and we were sitting a few rows behind where he sat .. and near where Nolan Ryan and George W. Bush sit when they go to the games (neither was there last night).

Possibly the best seats I have ever had for a MLB game ... only bad part was she bought the tickets a long time ago and it conflicted with the Hawks-Bruins game ...that God for Tivo and streaming video on the phone in between innings :)

KISS is most overrated underrated band of all time. They are the 2112 of rock bands. Everyone has heard too much KISS to not want to listen them any more, but KISS has so much good stuff that no one wants to try to listen to.

The current (last 10-ish years) incarnation of the band has done a lot to tarnish their image IMO ... their first 6 albums and the Ace Frehley 78 solo album are realy solid (though with the exception of the Ace album they managed to put 1 total crap track on each). The 78 Ace album is an awesome cocaine fueled 70's style rock album from a guy who cannot sing for shit, but someone makes his vocals work.

Now making my special variety of omelet - the om-nom-nomelet. It consists of two eggs, one half onion cut in small pieces, a few champignons, some slices of bacon, and to top it off - some cheese.

This is going to be delicious.

Coincidence, I just had omelette too, although not a nom-nomelette, just the boring milk, eggs, onion and herbs variety.

I didn't know water also worked.

When I make omelets I usually do 2 to 3 eggs, shredded cheese, chopped up bits of steak, little bit of butter and milk, and sauteed green peppers and onions.

Water and milk serve the same purpose; they boil in contact with the hot frying pan, and form bubbles that are trapped in the matrix of coagulating egg protein. The difference between milk and water is that milk adds some fat and sweetness too. It's a matter of taste which one you choose.

On his opening speech for Mediterranean Games, our prime minister said "Akdeniz is called White Sea in English". We refer to the Mediterranean as White Sea (Akdeniz), but obviously the rest of the world doesn't.
