Good question, they don't specify. But since it's about wildlife I assume something like roe deer...they probably wouldn't have us hunt something potentially dangerous like lynx or wolf or wild boar or moose since we're at a university.

:D Here, sign this insurance disclaimer.....
I was wondering if it would be an unusual species that science doesn't already know much about, or if it's just for hands-on practical experience

Cool that Swedish universities offer courses that involve actual hunting! I guess it will be small game, as I guess there is a limited allowance for big game like moose (which means a license for hunting big game would cost more than a university would be willing to pay). In Norway, the annual moose hunt is a fairly expensive thing.

Well I was talking mostly about this forum. If everyone came in and said "Well isn't this place dead.." no discussions would ever happen here :D

I've seen it a lot lately, not from you personally, just people coming in and saying nothing is happening, which I always found a bit weird, there's lots of discussions going round in different threads :)

Yeah, but
a) I may not find them particularly interesting
b) I may not want to take part
c) I may only want to post here to help accomplish the ultimate mission
