Wembley 91 is also cool.

No I haven't. I don't like anything from Skid Row after Subhuman Race so never checked out his solo stuff.
They fired Bach after Subhuman Race, so not Bachs fault Revolutions per minute sucks. :D

Enjoy the first single/opener/title track

Or tunnelvision, with John 5. Actually, I love the album through and through, It's a grower. I first thought it was just a good album, but it sits better after a few listens.

Yeah, the "so" was supposed to be "and" :p Thickskin was also horrible.

But thanks for the links, will check em out a bit later!
Haven't even dared to listen to Thicksin... And please do! There are three great ballads on there too. It has actually grown into one my of my absolute favorite modern Metal albums (as in post 90's :p).

Edit: HAHA Bach's crazy during Here I Am. A for effort.

Edit 2: Ok, now I know how some chicks feel about male Metal musicians:

Lizzy. Hale. *drools*

She sounds just like Bach during the harsh semi scream vocals. 2:15

Do you like The Black Crowes too? Them and Skid Row. They were out and popular around the same time. Two top rock bands of the early 90s for me.

Never heard of them before actually. I like the videos you posted, so I will check them out more closely later (in the midst of moving :P). Kinda different style though, obviously.

Yes different but not that different again I think. Some of those songs on the first few Skid Row albums are pure blues rock/rock n' roll. The difference is that they plug everything in, amp it up and play it on Flying V Guitars :p but the songs themselves wouldn't be out of place on a Black Crowes album, they'd just sound different.

:notworthy:

Yeah their first studio album was widely praised in the media and lots of magazines raved about them. Really was/is a fantastic rock album too...and to come just out of the blue like that, debut album.

I thought the hotels near Donington had been mostly booked up a very long way in advance...it looks like they're signed up to a promotion run in partnership with Live Nation, the festival organiser, which is now offering very expensive hotel stay deals. Eeek.

Bastards!

It might be coincidence, it might just be that hardened Downloaders booked in a year in advance, but those are the same hotels that are advertised in Live Nation's packages
