I highly doubt it. That fad has been over for quite a few years now.

I think the last song they came out with was that very annoying Na Na Na one or something like that. No wonder they're breaking up... They're ashamed of that song.

what

You've been seriously missing out
Yes I have. I've been on a "metal albums I should have listened to awhile ago" run since January. In fact, it was my new year's resolution to listen to a whole bunch of new metal.
So far I've heard: Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt. 1
Aqualung
Defenders of the Faith(not as good as I'd thought it'd be)
Hotter Than Hell
Destroyer
KISS
Love Gun
Agent Orange
Persecution Mania
M-16
Better Off Dead
Extreme Aggression
The Blackening
Bomber
Seasons in the Abyss
Visions(this album took forever and was a pain to sit through)
Nothingface

Visions by Stratovarius is not the power metal epic everyone makes it out to be. Besides that, all those albums are top notch.

Gamma Ray is the best of them. But even they have some really bad stuff.

I'm probably not the best person to talk to about power metal. I'll tell you that most Helloween is shit and the best of it can probably be put on one album and Stratovarius is a huge bore :P

Somewhere Out In Space was the last great Gamma Ray album, after that everything was just ok.

Keeper of the 7 keys pt. 1 interested me, I might check out pt. 2 and Time of the Oath then call it quits.

Mosh have you checked out anything by Overkill yet? Thrash at its finest.

I could probably agree with that. Last few album are pretty bad.

I liked part 2 more than 1 although I didn't really care for either. The first album is their best.

I used to like Overkill even though I couldn't stand Bobby Blitz's voice. Haven't put anything on by them in a long time. They're one of those bands who sound better now then they did in the 80's/90's. Testament is like that too

"That girl" has found herself a boyfriend, guys. An upper grade guy. I'm okay with it but hearing the constant talking about it was annoying. I'm pleased that I can handle this well, I'm now dead sure I'm completely over her.

This is probably not news to some here, but standing there for two hours straight entertaining children is quite straining.

The early Helloween is pretty strong, for my tastes. The pair walls of Jericho-Ride the Sky is so powerful.

I also like the High Live set, which i used to hear a lot ten years ago and every once in a while listen to it again.

I disagree. Kai's voice on WOJ is awesome, fits the music (which is also awesome) perfectly. But then again, Mosh will tell you it sucks, and someone else might agree with me, so you'll have to check it out for yourself :P
