It's a shit habit indeed. But it's so fucking good. Yuuuuummm.

I rarely crave anything like chocolate, chips, candy or ice cream. Just that fucking soda. Wonder if it's the aspartame or the caffeine?

I haven't heard anything to indicate that aspartame is addictive (except from alties who seem to think aspartame t is part of a conspiracy, of course), but caffeine is known to be. However, human habits in their own right are often hard to break - even when there is no addiction in the physiologic sense. If you drink/eat/do something and it gives you a feeling of pleasure, you are likely to want to eat/drink/do it again.

They're one of my guilty pleasures. One of the first rock bands I can remember listening to as kid since my parents had Fly Like An Eagle on cassette tape. That and Beach Boys Surfin' USA and Mannfred Mann's Pretty Flamingos :D

Yeah, I've always liked their sound. I've always thought of them as 'good old fashioned classic rock'. Great stuff!

In related news, I've been listening to a few 'female singer' rock/metal bands; Evanesence, Lacuna Coil, Epica (I think Foro turned me on to that one). Obviously Doro. Any other really good ones that I should look into?

Definitely! I've been turned on to their earlier stuff too before they streamlined their sound a bit. Some very cool psychedelic/blues inspired rock on Sailor . GREAT album that!

Nightwish obviously. Within Temptation. The Gathering. Tristania. ReVamp, Leaves Eyes. After Forever. Nemesea.

For no particular reason, here's a moose in sunset.

Here is an Elk in the middle of the road

Actually, moose is said to be the most dangerous animal species in Norway. Only because it is frequently involved in collisions with cars (and of the animals that frequently collide with cars, it is by far the largest). We have warning signs for that along the road, they look like this:

I literally read this in the paper today. Funny coincidence! It was an article on some kind of huge park where people can meet wolves.

Other dangerous animals include wasps (of course only dangerous to those who have an allergy) and dogs (at least, dogs with bad owners). But the most dangerous animal is, of course, homo sapiens.

Ghost Rider was just on. I had forgotten about how terrible that movie was. Although the version of Ghost Riders in the Sky played throughout the film is ace. Best thing about it, and I guess that even includes the almost drowned-out playing of Crazy Train early in.
