Is this a romantic sort of friend or a platonic friend?
I use boyfriend for the BF most of the time - I'm 37 and he's 45!
In fact I think the best is just say 'my friend'.
Not platonic, it's romantic. I guess I just feel weird saying "girlfriend".
Is this the same person on whom you have elabourated with me in the past? And if so, is the situation the same as before?Yeah, we talk about it sometimes and just stick with 'best friend'. But I thought I'd ask some outside sources!
I eat a lot of horse meat, my mom was passing it to me as beef for years and I couldn't tell the differenceSome people eat horse in Britain, but only because it's been put into processed foods and passed off as beef
Thank you But I clicked anywayAs for my personal pets's... I shall spoiler it because I know Night Prowler doesn't like em
My mom has a partner who's like 60 years old. I refer to him as mom's "man-friend"So, to my wise (and wise ass) friends, a question. When one is past their 20's and has a female friend, what should be the correct designation? Boyfriend/girlfriend seems fairly adolescent, is there a better term?

Romantic?? You lucky you
I'm feeling uncomfortable to even say girlfriend. It's kind of big thing to me -like partner would be for someone else. The most of the times I say 'a woman /girl I'm seeing', or 'a woman /girl I know' if it just started.
